Back to Portugal he filmed O Crime do Padre Amaro, Até Onde? and A Herdeira. The play Por uma Noite, inspired on the movie "Before Sunrise", was his last work in Portugal before flying again to Brazil. Soon Ricardo will be back to Brazilian Theatre, Cinema and Tv! Stay alert! Ricardo can smile when looking back through the year of 2005! He was chosen out of 20 candidates to star in a Tv Globo's production - Como uma onda - which gave Brazil the opportunity to get to know Ricardo's work. While in Brazil he took part in several Fashion shows, he participated in the play Surto and in the movie Balé da Utopia. :: Message Board ::
2005 in review...  Ricardo is not thinking about abandoning the fashion world in the near future and plans to continue working as an actor for a long time for, as he puts it, he wishes to be an actor for the rest of his life. Ricardo was born in Lisbon in the 14th of September, 1979. It was when Ricardo decided to take part in the Ragazza Magazine Photo Contest that his career as a model began. He was very young but it did not take long before he started appearing in several fashion shows and photo shoots. Ricardo has established a course for himself in fashion and is a reference in the Portuguese fashion world. Ricardo's first contact with drama occurred in high school when he joined an amateur theatre group, it became a passion. Ricardo believes that one who wishes to become an actor should study, take courses and participate in workshops in order to improve his/her acting skills and achieve a solid career in acting. For this reason Ricardo has participated in several drama courses and workshops and has tried hard to learn as much as he can from the experiences of the veteran actors. In the year 2000 he starred, with some of the great names in the Portuguese acting scene, in a play produced by Carlos Avilez – A Real Caçada ao Sol – in D. Maria II National Theatre. It was a great experience. Ricardo proved his talent and soon roles in other plays as well as in television and cinema appeared! He has built his career with work and dedication; he has known how to seize opportunities and keeps everyone's expectations very high.
